She has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois, coursework in Graphic Design from Pratt Institute, and coursework in Interior Design & Construction Management from Minnesota State University, Mankato. She is licensed in both mechanical and electrical engineering. Also Kaeko is a LEED accredited professional and able to address sustainability and energy issues as well as building surveys and audits.
